Welcome back to what is sure to be the most awesome year that Souled Out has ever had. We as leaders have been praying very hard for you throughout the summer and are excited to be back in the school season. This year of Souled Out will be different than in years past. yes you still have the awesome leaders of Jonathan and Sarah Bates, Kasie Harris, and Sam and Joyce Rempel; but along with these leaders comes a new and exciting attitude to server yoru spiritual health!
We are going to spend a few weeks studying the person of Jesus. We will hope to discover why it is we should server this child of God. Throughout the year we will also focus on our Identity in Christ. Through scripture memorization and devotion we hope to help each teen get a better grasp on their place with God. We are starting a new program Wednesday nights called Souled Out: Lived Out where we go even deeper into our devotions and some of the big issues in society today!
Our Sunday evening formats will be similar. We will continue to have snacks. We have many new and exciting games and activities to bring to the table. We will have the latest in Christian music blaring in the speakers. This year we are also going beyond the walls. We are looking into service projects with local missions and this winter we will be going to a new and exciting campground for our winter retreat. As always we have Camp Andrews in late April and several special activites throughout the year.
Buckle up - it is going to be a dynamite year!
