When was the last time you flew a kite? I can remember a few times I tried to fly a kite. Sometimes the kite flew beautifully, other times it was very frustrating. The kite was intended to fly - but I could not get it to stay up in the air. Where is Ben Franklin when you need him?

Many issues arise in our lives where it feels like there is no solution. As we approach the series on Conflicts - I am sure you can think of a few relationships in your life where the word "conflict" is the only way to describe it. Parents, friends, teachers - each relationship carries its own unique troubles; but each relationship also has its own unique blessings. God has designed us as relational beings - he made us to need other people. The catch is, we need to line up these relationships with the manner that God has intended. God has plans to bring hope in the midst of our conflicts. We will be able to fly the kite!
